Danish MEP has decided to follow up on the European Patent Office (EPO) working conditions and asked the Commission to answer, in writing, on what is the Commission’s view on the reported situation and what is the plan to follow up on the issues presented.
The difficult situation of EPO working conditions had been raised first by Mr. Bernd Loescher, President of Union Syndicale Fédérale (USF), who sent a letter to all the 38 EPO delegations. It has been subsequently picked up by the Danish MEP who has asked the Commission for the written reply.
USF will keep monitoring the situation in EPO and will continue providing EPO staff with its full support.
